Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 10 March 2026. These terms govern the relationship between caeluxces Pte. Ltd. ("caeluxces", "we", "us") and any individual or entity ("Client", "you") who engages our car hire services or uses our website. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• "Service" refers to any car hire arrangement provided by caeluxces, including Morning Drive, Multi-Day Explorer Hire, and Formal Event Motorcade
• "Booking" refers to a confirmed hire arrangement accepted by caeluxces in writing
• "Vehicle" refers to the car or cars provided under a Booking
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions together with the written booking confirmation
• "Hire Period" refers to the duration specified in the written booking confirmation

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, confirming a booking, or making payment to caeluxces, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If booking on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Service Description

caeluxces provides three car hire services in Singapore:

• Curated Morning Drive — half-day self-drive hire with vehicle delivery, up to 5 hours, from SGD 380
• Multi-Day Explorer Hire — 3 to 7 day self-drive hire with delivery and support, from SGD 1,850
• Formal Event Motorcade — chauffeured multi-vehicle coordination, 4–8 hours, from SGD 2,700

All services are operated within Singapore. Cross-border vehicle use is not permitted without prior written agreement.

4. Booking Process

A booking is formed when caeluxces sends written confirmation of the hire arrangement and a deposit or full payment has been received. Enquiries do not constitute a binding booking. caeluxces reserves the right to decline any enquiry at its discretion. All booking terms, inclusions, and pricing are confirmed in the written confirmation document. Verbal representations not included in writing do not form part of the Agreement.

5. Driver Eligibility

For self-drive arrangements (Morning Drive and Multi-Day Hire):

• The driver must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 licence or an internationally recognised licence accepted in Singapore
• Licence documentation must be provided to caeluxces prior to vehicle handover
• caeluxces reserves the right to refuse handover if documentation is incomplete or invalid
• The driver must be at least 25 years of age unless otherwise agreed in writing

6. Payment Terms

• A deposit is required to confirm the booking; the remaining balance is due before vehicle handover
• Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable GST
• Invoices are issued on confirmation; receipts are provided on payment
• Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking at caeluxces's discretion

7. Cancellation and Amendments

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the hire start: full refund less a SGD 50 processing fee
• Cancellations made within 72 hours of hire start: 50% of the total booking value is retained
• Same-day cancellations or no-shows: full booking value is retained
• Amendments to date, vehicle, or duration are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing
• caeluxces reserves the right to cancel a booking due to vehicle unavailability; in such cases, a full refund will be issued

8. Vehicle Use and Client Responsibilities

• The vehicle must be used only within Singapore unless prior written agreement has been obtained
• Smoking is not permitted in any caeluxces vehicle
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as at handover; cleaning and damage fees apply where applicable
• The client is responsible for all parking fines, traffic violations, and ERP charges incurred during the hire period
• Sub-letting or transferring the vehicle to an unauthorised driver is not permitted
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-road driving, or any illegal purpose

9. Insurance and Liability

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive motor insurance as required by Singapore law. Coverage details are included in the booking confirmation. The client remains liable for any excess or deductible specified in the insurance terms. caeluxces's liability for any claim arising from the hire is limited to the value of the booking. caeluxces is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Chauffeured Services

For the Formal Event Motorcade, all drivers hold current LTA Vocational Licences. caeluxces provides routing and timing planning as part of the service. Clients must not request drivers to exceed legal speed limits, breach traffic regulations, or take routes that compromise safety. caeluxces is not liable for delays caused by factors outside its control, including traffic incidents, road closures, or acts of third parties.

11. Damage and Loss

The client is responsible for any damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance, including damage caused by negligence or misuse. caeluxces will inspect the vehicle at return. Any damage identified will be documented and the client informed in writing. Repair costs will be invoiced at prevailing market rates. Loss of keys, documents, or accessories will be charged at replacement cost.

12. Disclaimers

caeluxces provides its services in good faith and in accordance with these terms. We do not warrant that services will be entirely without disruption. We make no representation that any particular vehicle will be available, as the fleet is subject to maintenance and operational requirements. Substitute vehicles of comparable class will be offered where possible.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the caeluxces website — including text, images, and design — is the property of caeluxces Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is not permitted. The caeluxces name and mark are proprietary.

14. Termination

caeluxces may terminate a hire arrangement immediately and without refund if the client breaches these terms, misrepresents eligibility, or operates the vehicle in a manner that endangers safety. The client may terminate by providing written notice subject to the cancellation terms above.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts. We encourage clients to raise any concern directly with us in the first instance — the majority of issues are resolved through straightforward communication. Contact: [email protected].

16. General Provisions

• This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the hire service
• If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect
• A failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
• caeluxces may update these terms; changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date
• Continued use of services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
