How caeluxces began
caeluxces was established in 2017 at a time when Singapore's car hire market was tilted toward volume — large fleets managed at a distance, with vehicles delivered by rote and service provided reactively. The founders, both experienced in logistics and hospitality, saw an opening for something different.
The name caeluxces is a compound drawn from Latin roots suggesting light and travel — a quiet nod to the idea that movement, when done well, carries its own clarity. From the beginning, the company has operated with a deliberately curated approach: fewer vehicles, greater attention to each one, and a team that takes enquiries seriously from the first message.
Today, caeluxces serves a range of clients — business visitors, long-stay guests, event planners, and Singapore residents marking particular occasions. The team is small by design, and the processes have been refined through eight years of operation on the island.

Priya manages client enquiries and coordinates with hotels, corporate offices, and event venues. Her background is in hospitality management, and it shows in how she handles every booking.

Fleet & Vehicle Preparation
Marcus is responsible for vehicle readiness, maintenance scheduling, and the delivery experience. He has worked with several marques across Singapore and Malaysia over twelve years.

Insurance Compliance
All vehicles operate under comprehensive insurance coverage aligned with Singapore's Land Transport Authority requirements. Coverage details are provided at confirmation.
Mechanical Standards
Each vehicle undergoes a pre-booking inspection covering tyres, fluids, lighting, and interior condition. Servicing follows manufacturer-recommended intervals without exception.
Data Protection
Client information is handled in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We do not share personal data with third parties beyond what is necessary for the booking.
Driver Verification
For self-drive bookings, valid licence documentation is reviewed prior to handover. For chauffeured arrangements, all drivers hold current Vocational Licences issued by the LTA.
Clear Communication
All booking terms, pricing, and conditions are confirmed in writing before any payment is taken. There are no surprises at handover.
Responsible Operations
We maintain a proportionate fleet size to avoid unnecessary vehicle idle time. Where hybrid and low-emission options are available, we make them the default recommendation.
